Following the successfull entry of 24-7 Communications Limited into East Africa, the forward looking agency on Friday March 27, 2009, played host to the media in Uganda. In attendance at this function, were senior media personel from the newspaper, radio and television houses.
According to the Group Managing Director, the Social gathering is a tradition in all 24-7imc agencies all over Africa. The agency set aside the last friday of the quarter to let out steam and relax after a hectic quarter. The Nite is tagged "TGIF" thank God is friday. The Group Managing Director, also used the opportunity to discuss bunrning issues on media in Uganda and finding a way to develop new media strategies that will assist clients to get the best value from thier media budget.
The "TGIF", Mr Segun Adewale said will be organised every last friday of the quarter. The party lasted into the wee hours of Saturday morning.
